    Notice is given that the Board of Directors of the Washtucna School District #109 has changed the regular meeting scheduled for July 24, 2018

    from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.



    The Washtucna School District No. 109, Adams County, WA, has prepared the budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year.  A copy of the budget will be furnished to any person during business office hours of 8 a.m.-4 p.m.  The Washtucna School District Board of Directors will meet in a public meeting on 7/24/18 at 7 a.m. at 730 E. Booth St., Washtucna WA, for the purpose of adopting the 2018-19 budget and four-year budget plan.  Any person may appear at this meeting and be heard for or against the adoption of the budget.

    The Board of Directors of Washtucna School District #109 has declared old inventory and supplies as surplus.  Students wishing to purchase texts pursuant to RCW 28A.320.230 shall have priority and can contact the district office by July 22, 2018 .  Items are offered for sale to public and private schools in Washington State until 4pm August 3, 2018.  Call the District Office at (509) 646-3237 for a list of items and more information.  List also available at www.tucna.wednet.edu.  The Board of Directors of the Washtucna School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids.  List available here.

    Message for Parents and Inclement Weather


     When the Washtucna School District experiences inclement weather (severe snow, rain or ice) and if you feel that it is “unsafe” for your son/daughter to  ride the school bus or drive to school, please contact the school in advance to the start of the school day and your son/daughter will receive an excused absence for that day. This excused absence will not be counted against them and assignments can be made up without any problems. Please contact Mr. Wing if you have any questions or concerns. 
    The Washtucna School District is inviting community
    members to be part of our district
    Wellness Commitee for the 2017 - 2018 school year. 
    The Wellness Committee will meet four times over
    the course of the current school year.
